Special Event Schedule 2012:

6^th Annual Family Week on Great Slave Lake July 28 - Aug 4 and Great Bear Lake Aug 4 - 11.

When we started this special week at Great Bear we expected to see parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts bringing their kids, grand kids, nieces and nephews. What has been most surprising is the number of kids and grand kids bringing their parents and grandparents up the lodge as a thank you for all the fishing trips over the years. For family week we fish two people per boat and one family member in each boat receives a 25% discount on their trip fare.

7^th Annual Fly fishing week at Great Bear Lake Lodge and Tree River August 11-18

Spend two nights at Tree River plus one day at a remote Grayling flyout during your seven days at Great Bear Lake for one package price of USD 5995! You will accomplish what few fly fishers have when you are sight casting for huge lake trout in the shallows of Great Bear.

19^th Annual Dental Seminar at Trophy Lodge on Great Bear Lake July 7-14

Dr. Terry Donovan and Dr. Brent Beyak will be hosting the 18^th annual Dental Seminar on Great Bear Lake. Participants will earn continuing education credits in the remote reaches of Great Bear Lake. Your spare time will be spent catching monster Lake Trout, Northern Pike and Arctic Grayling with the chance for a side trip by float plane to the Coppermine River to fish for Arctic Char.
